Unexpected post-appendectomy wrinkle (probably from breathing tube): my uvula is swollen and now slightly touches the back of my tongue/throat, making it feel like I need to gag. Can still breathe and swallow OK. No fever. But I wasn’t mentally prepared for this and it’s incredibly annoying 🫠
