Pastors/churches: If you haven’t yet spoken out against the rise of fascism in the United States, the mistreatment of immigrants, etc., what’s your “red line,” as it were, to be willing to “get political” and say something about these things? To specifically call things out and teach, preach, and act against them? Do the threats have to come from the Left? Do they have to apply to you or your loved ones directly? Do they have to negatively affect your church’s budget? What would, even hypothetically, prompt you to say something more direct?
