Excited to try out my new Bloom card/app for controlling my phone usage. So far, so good! I like having a physical device as a part of it. And I like that it’s just a one-time code of $29 instead of a subscription. Anyone else out there using Bloom, Brick, or a similar physical device combo?

Not a real artist here, but there’s gotta be a way to get Word, Sacrament, angel (St. Matthew’s symbol), and a subtle “M” together in a single logo. It’s for some pro bono website work I’m doing for a church called St. Matthew’s.

Trying to come with a way to add an “M” (for St. Matthew) to this design. Haven’t figured out a way to add angel wings that I like. But it seems like the M should be doable. Wish I were better at drawing/design!

I’m putting together a church website with Hugo. So far, just doing everything from scratch with some help fr Claude Code. But I’m wondering if there are any Hugo themes that are particularly good for church websites? Anyone out there make a church website with Hugo?

I really enjoyed listening to “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir. But, let’s be honest, in real life, they’d put Grok in charge of the ship and it wouldn’t even make it past the moon.
